资源简介:
The Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF) core dataset collection enables users to download core geospatial datasets and tables needed to run the ACPF tools on southern Ontario watersheds of interest, provided corresponding LiDAR data is also available for the same watershed area.
The ACPF is a concept for agricultural watershed management that was developed by United States Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) and United States Department of Agriculture - Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS) researchers and staff. The process is supported by high-resolution data and an ArcGIS toolbox, which are used to identify site-specific opportunities to install conservation practices across small rural watersheds. The Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework National Hub provides comprehensive information on the ACPF framework and its operations.
The ACPF core datasets available here have been assembled in a way that enables the data packages to be downloaded by selecting the Ontario watershed of interest using its unique Ontario Geospatial Feature Identifier (OGF-ID) number. The Ontario Watershed Boundaries (OWB) used are based on the authoritative watershed boundaries for Ontario.
As shown in the download map, only southern Ontario watersheds with unique OGF-ID numbers have ACPF core datasets associated with them as this is where agricultural activity is dominant in the province and provincial LiDAR data are also available.
