Infiltration properties of the substrate

The topic presents the infiltration performance of the subsurface for rainwater depending on the geological situation. However, the lithological nature of the substrate is not the only criterion for targeted infiltration of rainwater. In addition, groundwater flux levels, protected areas and material loads (e.g. contaminated sites) must be taken into account. The data does not replace site-specific assessment of infiltration.
