Questionnaire scores between the two groups are compared (N per group = 19; from each originally recruited group (N = 22), three participants had to be excluded because their scores on the questionnaires did not match their original initial group assignment). Mean (standard deviation) are listed separately for the high fear and the low fear group, the reported t and p value are obtained from a 2-sample t-test.
