BIOL 3250 Pilot Balcony birdwatching dataset with meta-data

The following study took place over the course of two days, September 23^rd, 2020 to September 24^th 2020. Although the title of the experiment is balcony bird watching this experiment was not conducted solely from a balcony but actually from different locations in the Humber ravine, near the Humber river. The goal of the study was to go out into suitable habitat and identify the local species of birds found in that location as well as take notes on their behaviour and the habitat they were found in. From this, a dataset was made along with meta-data and published to in order to contribute to open science learning. <br>Both experiments were conducted at 10:00 am each day and ran for roughly one hour. The weather on both mornings was sunny, cool and moist but quickly warmed up resulting in less bird movement and observations.<br><br><br>
