MOLDED BODY OF CELLULOSE FIBERS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded body of cellulose fibers capable of improving a tensile elastic modulus， and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A molded body X of cellulose fibers includes cellulose fibers as a principal component and contains cellulose nanofibers C and pulp P as the cellulose fibers， in which a lignin content is 5-50 mass%. The cellulose nanofibers C and the pulp P are used to prepare slurry S of cellulose fibers. Wet paper is formed from the slurry S of cellulose fibers. The wet paper is dewatered， compressed and heated to produce a molded body X. Lignin-containing pulp is used as raw material pulp of the cellulose nanofibers C. SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
