Population monitoring records of common avutarda (‘Otis tar’) in Andalusia from censuses

Systematised population monitoring records for avutarda (‘Otis tar’) in Andalusia collected in the period 2000-2021. The data come from the Emergency Program, Epidemiological Control and Monitoring of Endangered Fauna (PECES), the programs for the conservation and recovery of steppe birds, and from LIFE projects of the same theme that the Andalusian environmental administration has developed. The information is reviewed annually and the regional interpretative reports published on the Andalusian Government’s website are generated following the Protocol for the transfer and dissemination of information derived from the Plans and Programs for the Conservation of wild flora and fauna and the equipment entrusted to the Andalusian Environment and Water Agency (AMAYA) dated 29/10/2014. Sensitive information in accordance with Article 13.2.h) of Law 27/2006 of 18 July 2006 regulating the rights of access to information, public participation and access to justice in environmental matters.
