The Impact of Neighborhood Cohesion and Social Isolation on the Mental Health of Older Adults: Mediating Effects of Subjective Well-being

The dataset, "Raw Data_The Impact of Neighborhood Cohesion and Social Isolation on the Mental Health of Older Adults: Mediating Effects of Subjective Well-being", was collected from older adults residing in urban areas of Sanya, Hainan Province, China using the WJX platform (www.wjx.cn) between August and December 2024. After excluding invalid responses, 646 valid questionnaires were analyzed. The present study focuses on the main psychological elements affecting older people, including neighborhood cohesion, social isolation, subjective well-being and mental health, in order to analyze the impact of urban living environments on the mental health of older people. This dataset provides valuable insights for understanding the psychological state and development of elderly individuals.
