Spike Mutation Analysis Summary for SARS-CoV-2 Sequences in 2024 (Companion Dataset n > 90,000)

This dataset provides a summary analysis of putative drug-resistant mutations (DRMs) within the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein for sequences annotated with the year 2024. It includes two files:

drug_resistant_single_mutations_summary.csv: Lists individual spike DRMs identified, along with their corresponding GenBank accession numbers, collection year (2024), country of origin, a resistance status indicator, and a category for the associated drug class or effect (e.g., Neutralizing Antibodies, ACE2 Binding).
drug_resistant_mutation_clusters_summary.csv: Details unique combinations (clusters) of these DRMs found together, including the GenBank accession numbers, years, and countries associated with each cluster, along with a summary of the drug classes/effects linked to the mutations within that cluster.
The mutations analyzed are based on a predefined list of known or suspected immune escape mutations. This dataset is a complementary output to the primary research study hosted on GVAtlas.org and offers a focused view of spike protein variation relevant to potential drug resistance or immune escape observed in the 2024 data.
