Natura2000 sites Province of Utrecht

Natura 2000 is the coherent network of protected natural areas in the European Union consisting of Birds Directive and Habitats Directive Areas. Natura 2000 sites are a combination of both and the protected natural monuments therein. In the Netherlands, there are 163 areas, three of which are marine areas in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the North Sea (including a proposed Birds Directive area in the EEZ). The Birds Directive areas were largely designated in the period 1986-2000. The Habitats Directive sites are designated with the designation of the Natura 2000 sites concerned.自然2000（Natura 2000）是欧盟境内一套统一连贯的受保护自然区域网络，由《鸟类指令（Birds Directive）》与《生境指令（Habitats Directive）》划定的保护区共同组成。自然2000场地是上述两类保护区及其内部受保护自然遗迹的组合体。荷兰境内共有163处自然2000场地，其中3处为坐落于北海专属经济区（Exclusive Economic Zone，EEZ）的海洋区域（包含一处拟纳入的《鸟类指令》保护区场地）。《鸟类指令》所辖保护区大多于1986年至2000年期间完成划定。《生境指令》所辖场地则随对应自然2000场地的划定同步确定。
