10 pairs of adult trees along a 100m transect were obsreved at York University's Saywell woodlock, from 2:45pm - 3:30pm on September 23rd 2014. The distance between one tree and its pair tree was measured was measured in metres (m) by the transect and noted. The diameter at breast hieght of each tree was also measured. The tree condition was observed and noted. Adult trees were judged on the basis of bieng 10ft and above in hieght.
