On the Inside - Playing the Game - Main Performance Output (2019)

<i>On the Inside</i> is a research project created by Dr Helena Enright, Senior Lecturer in Drama, at Bath Spa University, in partnership with Geese Theatre Company, Birmingham and the University of Warwick. This research project explores how a ‘theatre of testimony’ performance methodology can respond creatively to the contemporary experiences of mothers in prison in the UK and the archive, culminating in a theatre performance output entitled <i>Playing the Game</i>.<br><br>This item contains a video recording of the full <i>Playing the Game</i> performance at Bedlam Festival, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, which took place on the 10th and 11th October 2019.<br><br><b>The work is under copyright and may not be used without permission.
