Structural patterns of rice and cassava production across Brazilian states

This repository provides the aggregated state-level dataset and R scripts supporting a principal component analysis of rice and cassava production in Brazil. The data were obtained from the Municipal Agricultural Production Survey (PAM) conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) for the period 2019–2023. The materials allow full reproducibility of the analyses presented in the associated manuscript submitted to a peer-reviewed agronomy journal.
