Dataset for "Hand Fidgeting Increases Pupil Diameter During Auditory Processing in Young Healthy Adults"

This dataset contains pupil measurement data, auditory task performance data, and subjective listening difficulty data collected to examine the effects of two types of fidgeting behavior (hand fidgeting using toys and mild leg movement using an ergometer) on the allocation of cognitive resources during auditory processing in healthy young adults. The dataset allows the analysis of: Whether simple, semi-automatic movements modulate cognitive resource allocation during listening tasks. Differences in physiological and behavioral responses across three conditions: hand fidgeting, leg fidgeting, and no movement (control).
