wireshark logs for captured network data

This dataset includes network traffic capture log data obtained in a continuous 72 hours monitoring period by using Wireshark which is a well-known network protocol analysis tool. Its major goal was to collect real time TCP payload data which will be used to study network behaviour, detect possible bottlenecks in network, and deliver quality of service (QoS) in contemporary communicational networks, especially 5G. All information about packets in the data is timestamped and includes features like the source\/destination IP and port, protocol, and the payload size along with flags. Such high granularity is useful in a variety of applications (anomaly detection, traffic classification, and discovery of novel applications of machine learning to network optimization). The data is in a structured form and hence simple to do preprocessing and feature engineering to do data driven analysis.
