资源简介:
we examined the association between violent video game exposure and (cyber)bullying, and consider whether there are differences in the role of risk factor (normative beliefs about aggression) and protective factor (self-control). A total of 777 Chinese college students (336 girls; Mage=13.57±0.98) completed measures including media violence exposure, normative beliefs about aggression, traditional bullying perpetration, cyberbullying perpetration and self-controlThe results indicated that media violent exposure was positively related to adolescent cyber/traditional bullying perpetration. Mediation analysis showed that normative beliefs about aggression mediated this relation. Moderated mediation test further revealed that self-control play a different role in cyberbullying and traditional bullying. Specifically, the indirect effect of media violent exposure on adolescent cyberbullying perpetration was moderated by self-control, however, self-control moderate the direct and indirect relationship between media violent exposure and traditional bullying perpetration.
