Transcriptional analysis of airway neutrophils in an in vitro model of ARDS

To investigate neutrophil adaptation to the lung during ARDS and COVID-induced ARDS. Blood neutrophils from healthy donors were isolated and transmigrated in vitro towards either a chemoattractant control (A1 cells) or towards ARDS airway fluid derived from patients (A2 cells). Each donor was transmigrated towards both conditions.
