High-resolution QTL mapping is useful for understanding the molecular basis of phenotypic variation. Whole-genome sequencing is an efficient approach for fast detection of quantitative loci responsible for complex trait variation with high accuracy. a set of RIL population of 125 lines (RILs) crossed by GZ hui and 10B was sequenced by whole-genome re-sequencing (WGR) at a 5.0X depth, while the bi-parents were sequenced at 20X. This research will help us to dissect the underlying molecular basis of phenotypic variation and accelerate the improvement of crop breeding.
