Dataset for the global change effects on microbial necromass content in soil

The impacts of global changes (nutrient addition, warming, elevated atmospheric carbon dioxide , and drought) on microbial necromass are poorly understood despite its critical role in the cycling and sequestration of soil carbon (C) and nutrients. Here, we conducted a meta-analysis to reveal general patterns of these global change effects on microbial necromass in soils.
