Analysis of Castor bean response to drought stress

Castor bean (Ricinus communis L.) is one of the main crops with potential for biofuel production, especially due to the high oil content in the total biomass of the seed. Drought limits crop growth and development, significantly reducing production. This study aimed to understand the possible response mechanisms of physiological, biochemical, and molecular processes in castor bean.
