资源简介:
The original data for the corresponding paper 'Wind Tunnel Tests for Wind-Excited Benchmark Building' in the special issue of the Journal of Engineering Mechanics (April 2004, Vol 130, No 4, pages 447-450) derived by Bijan Samali is provided in the documentation folder.
The derived data is calculated using similitude relationships based on the recorded pressure measurements on the small-scale high-rise building in the wind tunnel. These data files contain virtual sensors such as 'coefficient of pressure' and 'force'.
The files that start with numbers (xxdofxx-xx.xls) provide information on the fluctuating component of along wind forces including mean load for one hour of wind for a total of 3600 seconds. There are 32 Excel files. The files starting with a number relate to forces acting on each panel and then aportined to each floor level. Column A represents time in seconds up to 3600 seconds. The total load acting on the panel is given in Column D which represents the total force acting on that panel which is the sum of windward and leeward forces, shown as a single load. The loads shown in blue are those acting at individual floors in that panel.
The Excel sheets stating with panelx.xls are panel forces without aportining them to individual floors. Column E numbers in blue are the measured loads which is the same as those in Column D of previous sheets. Of interest is load shown in Column F which is the constant mean wind load acting on that panel.
The files in the derived data merges panelx.xls and xxdofxx-xx.xls files into a single file.
Please see 'Discussion for Calculation of Pressure Coefficients' documentation, as well.
For the file along-wind data, check experiment 1.
