In order to perform phylogenetic analysis of cell fusing agent virus (CFAV) we obtained nearly full genome sequences of CFAV by de novo assembly. Alternatively, the sequences were acquired directly from the publication authors and reads were remapped to confirm the 50% consensus sequences, which, then, were used for phylogenetic analyses.
