Microbial community datasets and R scripts for biofilm and bulk water analysis in a chlorinated drinking water distribution system (Valencia, Spain)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the data and R script used for the analysis of microbial communities in biofilms and bulk water from a chlorinated drinking water distribution system in Valencia, Spain. The dataset supports a study on microbial community dynamics, including both biofilm regrowth and long-term succession processes, as well as bulk water microbial composition. Analyses included in this dataset:- Principal Component Analysis (PCA)- Non-metric Multidimensional Scaling (NMDS)- PERMANOVA (adonis2)- Spearman correlation analyses between physicochemical parameters and microbial communities- Diversity indices (Shannon, Simpson, Margalef, Berger-Parker)- Identification of dominant genera- Core microbiome analysis The repository includes:- Raw and processed microbial community datasets- Physicochemical parameter data- Diversity indices- Combined datasets for multivariate analyses- A fully reproducible R script (Script_Aguas_Valencia.R) All analyses were performed using R, primarily with the packages: readxl, dplyr, tidyr, ggplot2, vegan, reshape2, ggrepel, and pheatmap. To reproduce the analyses, place all files in the same directory (or in a “data” folder) and run the R script. This dataset is associated with a study on drinking water microbiology and biofilm ecology, with implications for water quality and distribution system stability.
