Annual surface mass balance of Qaanaaq ice cap, Greenland in 2015-2016

Aluminium poles were installed in the ice on Qaanaaq ice cap to measure surface mass balance. Length from top of the poles to ice surface was measured. Measured length change of the poles converted in meters water equivalent.为测定地表质量平衡，研究人员在卡纳克冰盖（Qaanaaq Ice Cap）的冰层中布设了铝制测杆。测量了测杆顶端至冰面的距离，并将测得的测杆长度变化换算为米水当量（meters water equivalent）。
