Sections

This dataset contains the division of the Municipal Territory of Santander into Sections. This division is based on operational criteria, such as facilitating statistical studies. It is defined, mainly by a criterion of population volume. The census sections of Santander comprise a population area of between 500 and 2,000 inhabitants. Divisions are modified when lower or higher population limits are exceeded. This division is also used to appoint polling stations to taxpayers in election times. Reference System: ED50
