We compared flower-derived eDNA with video camera based observations of arthropods on sunflowers. The eDNA was recovered using a washing protocol. We also pre-washed the sunflowers in some samples and compared them to non-pre-washed samples to remove undisired eDNA contamination from before camera observation time.
