This dataset contains the following resources:
1. A taxonomy of public health guidance documents in Excel and SKOS formats: the taxonomy contains 100 branches, and was derived from documents gathered from the public health departments of Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Utah and the CDC. Methods used to collect guidance documents are described in a forthcoming publication (citation pending acceptance). The top level of the taxonomy divides branches between three domains: topic, stakeholder and setting.
2. A spreadsheet of all documents sampled to produce the taxonomy.
3. A set of freely available scripts for Apple Automator that were used to collect documents and extract URLs from them.
