The midgut is the first barrier for the invasion of microsporidium infection under natural conditions. The study on the early response of silkworm to microsporidium infection on the midgut of is helpful to understand the interaction between the host and the parasite. In this study, with the help of transcriptome analysis, the expression changes of midgut genes of P50 silkworm larvae infected with microsporidium were sequenced.
