Análise linguística/semiótica no campo jornalístico-midiático: percursos de letramento crítico

This article aims to investigate how linguistic/semiotic analysis constitutes a powerful language practice for critical literacy. For the qualitative-interpretive analysis, three text-enunciations from the journalistic-mediatic field were selected, specifically a meme and two headlines published by the Jornal Extra during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analysis was based on the studies of the Bakhtin Circle (2010, 2013, 2014), Lankshear and Knobel (2007, 2020), and Van Dijk (1993). The results of the analysis demonstrate that working with LSA in multisemiotic texts reveals the modes of organization and the elements of other semiotics that, in conjunction, compose the meanings of the text. The implementation of these language practices in the school's space-time are fundamental for the production and comprehension of contemporary texts that signify through the presence/absence of multimodal elements.
