Satellite positioning service

For many applications, the accuracy of 1 m to 5 m is not sufficient when positioning with the available satellite systems such as GPS or GLONASS. SAPOS — the joint project of the Association of Surveying Administrations of the Länder — prepares the received satellite signals and provides them with additional information to improve accuracy in real time via various media. For this purpose, a network of more than 260 reference stations is operated, of which 22 are in Brandenburg. The data is provided free of charge via automated procedures or by self-collection. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.
