Reduced Order Models for Peak Storm Surge in Texas and Alaska

Machine learning models of peak storm surge were generated for two regions - Texas and Alaska. The training data for the machine learning models was generated from preexisting ADCIRC databases using the adcirc-rom Python package. Models were trained using the same package. These models were able to accurately reconstruct peak storm surge for historical storms. They are the result of a grid search over a space of potential models.
