Code for Effects of imperfect detection on inferences from bird surveys

R code to simulate detection of birds during point count surveys. The simulation uses stochastic processes to model: (1) spatial locations of birds within bivariate normal territories, (2) bird song production as an autocorrelated process, and (3) perceptibility as a function of distance to the observer. Scripts include functions, parameters, simulation, data summarization and reshaping, and output tables.
