This opinion poll, managed and organised by the Directorate-General for Press and Communication, Public Opinion Sector, has been carried out at the request of the Directorate-General for Research. It was conducted in all the Member States of the European Union between 10 May and 15 June 2001 under the general coordination of EORG, in Brussels. This report looks at Europeans' experience and perception of science and technology.
