A longitudinal ¹H NMR-based urinary metabolomics dataset in a birth cohort for childhood atopic diseases

This dataset presents longitudinal urinary metabolomic profiles from 198 children at 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years and 5 years. It includes demographic data, feeding practices, parental atopy, household income and atopic disease status over time. Total and allergen-specific IgE (mite, egg, cow's milk) were measured to track allergic sensitization. Metabolomic data, obtained via ¹H-NMR spectroscopy and normalized for analysis, support investigations into the links between early development, metabolism and atopic disease progression.
