Xylem-associated fungus of Aquilaria sinensis (Lour.) Gilg are the weighty drivers in facilitating the formation of agarwood, and dynamically are affected the internal environment of the trunk due to artificial induction. In this study, changes in endophytic fungal community diversity and accompanying physio-biochemistry properties of the xylem at different induction times were explored, and co-occurrence networks were established among species based on order to deeply understand the role of endophytic fungiduring the formation of agarwood.
