To investigate the rapid effects of PGF2a on the corpus luteum we performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of controls and treatments at two time points with 4 biological replicates/group . Overall design: Cows in the mid luteal phase were injected i.m. with saline or PGF2a. Ovaryectomies were performed after 4 and 12 hours after injection.
