This dataset contains survey responses collected from adult English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners in a higher-education context in Kuwait. The data were collected during the summer semester of 2024 as part of a study examining learner engagement, confidence, and perceptions of technology-mediated feedback when using Microsoft Teams' Reading Progress tool for a homework-based reading activity. All direct and indirect identifiers have been removed to protect the participants' privacy. Due to ethical considerations involving human participants, access to the dataset is restricted and may be granted upon reasonable request to the corresponding author.
