资源简介:
The Black-legged Kittiwake (Rissa tridactyla) is a small, pelagic gull with a circumpolar distribution in the northern hemisphere. Despite being the most abundant gull species in the World, the species has been listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN Red List due to global population declines since 1975 associated with changes in the rate of ocean warming. This female is from a long-term monitoring programme in Middleton Island, Alaska and is from a trio of samples (parents and offspring) that were used to generate a high-quality reference genome for both maternal and paternal haplotypes. Sample collection was conducted by Kyle Elliott. Genome sequencing and assembly was funded by Diego Rubolini and Andrea Pilastro and performed by the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP) led by Olivier Fedrigo and Erich D. Jarvis..
