Operational plan for maritime transport

The new plans for maritime transport entered into force on 1 January 2014 (plans of 15.8.13/RRB of 28.8.2013). The substantive plans define important framework conditions for maritime transport and, in particular, the spatial outlines for boat stationing. The plan covers the Bernn parts of Lake Biel and Lake Neuchâtel, the Zihl Canal between Lake Neuchâtel and Bielersee and the Nidau-Büren Canal between Lake Biel and the Schleuse Port and Zihl. Attention: the data in the reporting levels is the frozen timeline at the time of approval of the Maritime Plan on 15.8.2013, for other purposes these data are obsolete (levels ‘Notes archaeology’, ‘Non-driving zones’, ‘port and shipyard facilities’, ‘road lanes’, ‘painting areas’, ‘nature priority areas’, ‘water and train bird reserves’).
