Maternal_fetal metagenome sequencing Raw sequence reads

This study collected maternal multi-site samples (oral, reproductive tract, rumen content, and ileal content) and fetal multi-site samples (placenta, amniotic fluid, umbilical cord blood, gastric content, cecal content, and rectal content) from sheep at 4 months of gestation (6 ewes, 11 fetuses) and 5 months of gestation (6 ewes, 12 fetuses). Fetal samples were obtained through sterile hysterotomy. Metagenomic sequencing was performed to characterize microbial communities and investigate vertical viral transmission patterns. Additionally, 4 negative controls were included.
