Data underlying the MSc. thesis: An Evaluation of the Merging Interaction between Humans and Interaction-Aware Vehicles

This is the dataset of the Master thesis titled "An Evaluation of the Merging Interaction between Humans and Interaction-Aware Vehicles". The dataset encompasses the results of 10 experiments conducted as part of the thesis, with each experiment involving 2 participants, resulting in a total of 20 participants. All participants provided informed consent before participating in the experiments. The research protocol was reviewed and approved by the ethical committee of TU Delft.<br>The experiments were conducted using a virtual reality driving simulator, allowing for the collection of comprehensive data on the interaction between human drivers and interaction-aware vehicles. The dataset includes raw data captured during the experiments, as well as analyzed results derived from the collected data. The data include the raw data from the experiments conducted in the virtual reality driving simulator, the eye-tracking data capturing participants' gaze and attention during the merging interactions and the analyzed results obtained from the collected data.
