Cantharidin (CTD) is the main active ingredient of the Chinese medicine Mylabris and has good antitumor effects but its clinical application is limited by high toxicity. However, few studies have reported the Intestinal toxicity of CTD and related molecular mechanisms. Therefore, we used high-throughput sequencing technology to determine transcriptome expression profiles of colon tissues of mice exposed to CTD, in order to explore the branching mechanism of CTD causing intestinal injury
