This dataset analyzes the frequency of lemmas and named entities in news articles (in German, French, Italian, and English) regarding Switzerland and COVID-19. The dataset was generated using a specific parser and NLP pipeline, gathering all news articles published between January and July 2020 on COVID-19 and Switzerland from Factiva, a news monitoring and search engine. Due to Factivas copyright policy, the original dataset cannot be shared, but the results of our work on the corpus are shared. The dataset includes lemma and NE frequency data divided by language and provides information necessary to reproduce the results.
