Forest development planning

In a wide-ranging cooperation process, the various public and private claims against the forest are recorded and put into a spatial planning order. Part of a forest development plan (WEP) are two plans “Forest with Priority Function (Plan 1)” and “Forest and Objects with Special Function (Plan 2)” and the associated spatial data. Plan 1 outlines forests with priority protection against natural hazards, priority nature conservation and priority recreation and delimited them from the remaining multi-functional forests. Plan 2 lists areas, lines and points with special functions in the forest or forest.
