Discoverability of Rare Melanoma Clinical Trials Supplemental Table 1

This dataset contains the trial-level coding used in “Incomplete subtype labeling on ClinicalTrials.gov limits discoverability of acral and mucosal melanoma trials: a cross-sectional analysis.” Records were retrieved from ClinicalTrials.gov using “melanoma” AND (“acral” OR “mucosal” OR “mucosa”) with interventional studies first posted ≥2015 and then deduplicated by NCT ID. The primary sheet (“Supplemental Table 1”) includes one row per included therapeutic trial and structured fields extracted from ClinicalTrials.gov (e.g., title, first-posted date, sponsor/funder type, phase, masking, arms, region) plus binary indicators showing whether subtype terms appear in specific registry fields (Title, Condition(s), Brief Summary, Detailed Description, Eligibility/Inclusion/Exclusion, Study Arms, Outcomes, Keywords; “NA” indicates the field was absent/not applicable). An “Excluded” sheet lists excluded records with basic registry metadata. No patient-level data are included.
