Ukraine maize yield, remote sensing and climate reanalysis merged dataset

Contents This upload consists of two files: dataset.csv: The dataset used in the study after merging, cleaning and imputation. It contains data from all 24 oblasts in Ukraine over 2015–2024, where each observation in the dataset corresponds to an oblast-year pair. gee-script.js: The JavaScript code used to export the variables from Google Earth Engine via the Code Editor. Variables in the dataset Monthly variables were averaged for each oblast and aggregated on a monthly basis from March through August in Google Earth Engine for each observation year. The MODIS Land Cover Type Yearly [5] was used as a mask to filter features to pixels classified as cropland only. 'yield_lag_n' columns contain the previous n year's yield.
