The meeting of the IFLA Education and Training Section (SET), held via teleconference on 9 June 2025, included the welcome of new members, acknowledgements of outgoing and continuing members, and a tribute to former Chair Terry Weech. The section's goals and achievements were reviewed, including key projects such as BSLISE, the webinar series for Library and Information Science students, the Knowledge Management research project, and coordination of the commemorative book for SET's 50th anniversary. Preparations for the 2025 World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) in Kazakhstan were also discussed, and the start of the officer election process for the 2025–2027 term was announced.
