Coastal Data System - Waves (Brisbane)

Measured and derived wave parameters from data collected by a wave monitoring buoy anchored off North Stradbroke Island (original site name=Brisbane). \r\nFor more information please refer to [www.qld.gov.au/waves](https://www.qld.gov.au/waves/). \r\n Field names; \r\nHs - Significant wave height, an average of the highest third of the waves in a record (26.6 minute recording period). \r\nHmax - The maximum wave height in the record. \r\nTz - The zero up-crossing wave period. \r\nTp - The peak energy wave period. \r\nPeak Direction - Direction (related to true north) from which the peak period waves are coming from. \r\nSST - Sea surface temperature as measured in the buoy hull.
