The secondary land use categories cover paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrubbery land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow area, tidal flat, beach land, urban land, rural residential area, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali soil, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is classified into paddy fields and dry lands based on landforms: mountainous, hilly, plain, and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data scale is 1:100,000.
