FIREX FireLab 2016 (FIREX) is a product of the NOAA Chemical Sciences Laboratory (CSL) that focuses on measuring fuels or combustion conditions that are characteristic of the western U.S. that may be under-sampled by the fire research community. Data from measurements of gas and particle phase emissions and processing from FIREX are freely available to the public and scientific community to support technology transfer, inform decision makers, and contribute to assessments and reports. Emission products analyzed include SVOCs, VOCs, Black Carbon, and Brown Carbon, to name a few.
