Rapid and accurate assessment of the primary productivity of phytoplankton is crucial to the scientific research of Marine ecological environment and understanding the evolution of global carbon cycle. The measurement period of the primary productive forces, such as the 14C tracer method and the black and white bottle method, are long and cumbersome, etc. In this article, primary productivity "biological - optical" model is based on, combined with fluorescence kinetics method, through the light induced variable photosynthetic chlorophyll fluorescence parameters measurement. The primary productivity based on fluorescence kinetics parameters measurement research, obtained the primary production of phytoplankton photosynthetic electron transport rate of Pe, through C.pyrenoidosa tests in different stress conditions. The photosynthetic rate PO2 measured by the liquid oxygen electrode was used to verify the effectiveness of the fluorescence kinetic parameter method to measure the primary productivity of phytoplankton. Results show that under different concentration of DCMU stress, the measurement results Pe and PO2 has the very good consistency, which show that the correlation coefficient is 0.934 , and both decreased significantly with the stress concentration, PO2 and Pe was reduced by 71.55% and 71.55% respectively; In the 15 days after the stress of different nutrient salt or light intensity, the measurement result of Pe and PO2 still had good consistency, and the correlation coefficient between the two was above 0.955. It is shown that Pe and PO2 have good consistency under different stress conditions. A method is provided for the accurate measurement of phytoplankton primary productivity.
